Building some stairs, eh? Yeah, I use to build stairs too, but I stopped after the incident in Pittsburgh. After Pittsburgh I swore I’d never raise a hammer again with the intention of building another staircase. No way. No siree.
Don’t get me wrong, I think you’ve got some guts to do it. I don’t think it is crazy that you are using my favorite technique: eyeballing it. I’m sure these stairs will be great. They won’t kill anyone and they’ll probably last for at least a hundred years. It won’t turn out like Pittsburgh at all. No siree.
