Point and click adventures with puzzles, problem solving, reading are making a comeback? The games that filled the 90′s with grotesque levels of fun (think Broken Sword) have slowly been cropping up on iDevices. It doesn’t seem like they’ll ever be stopped.
Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World continues the ceaseless assault of retro-y fun. This game has zero voice acting. There isn’t even “action,” or endless hordes of zombified ninjas. WTF?! Those of us who enjoy iOS games that endless repackage the same exact game (and those who love the environment) will be pissed off by Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World, because it doesn’t try to recycle at all.
Yup, you read that right. The people at G5 Games hate mother earth. And they want to entertain you in ways that aren’t cliché. I bet these folks are fascists. If they ever get enough power no one will recycle anything, everyone will be pointing and click everywhere, and we’ll all have to wear t-shirts over our sweatshirts again.
If you really want, you can try the free version of Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World, but if you do you might enjoy it. And if you enjoy it you might buy it. Don’t buy it — you’ll only encourage them to make more games!
